Allpress organic coffee. Next to the organic food store is a café with the kind of gluten free menu you’d expect. Surprisingly, there are a couple of organic meat options – it’s not all vegetarian and vegan.
The soundscape is mostly the sound of coins hitting the till. The table numbers are attached to cute plastic moneyboxes, with money raised going to their charity of the month.
Coffee is hot, but smooth. At first, it’s pleasant enough, but later it settles a little heavy on the palate.
Update: closed down.

Danesi caffe coffee. In the heart of expensive concord, this café has an Italian theme.
Coffee arrives promptly. It’s a drinkable temperature but a little too foamy. I don’t think I’m a fan of this blend. Worth a look for the latte cups.

Caffe molinari. Part café, part sandwich bar and catering business. High ceiling, soundscape is a mix of a TV set and the traffic of Burwood Rd.
Seating for about 20, including a couple of outdoor tables. A couple of customers are having a leisurely breakfast. Lots of sandwich options, and a couple of salads. Prices seem reasonable.
The coffee was a pleasant surprise, sweet, smooth, great temperature… Worth a visit.
