I've tried a few of them and they were appropriately unsatisying and unhealthy. Great take on it. I'm afraid that most of the theological education I both took part in and watched others do (if done without ministry placement and good solid mentoring from a practitioner) basically just taught people how to write essays and answer exam questions.
