		<description>I've heard that asking to speak with the manager when you call Telstra and then telling *them* that you're looking at switching providers can often produce positive results.

Of course, there's the moral dilemma of deception or of chopping and changing service providers (which is less of a moral dilemma these days, given the lack of bilateral loyalty in utility provision in recent years)...</description>
