johns review 30th june...what a load of rubbish..I have never had a bad cup of coffee yet from Muse...in fact its the best in Summer Hill by far.
More inclined to say this review is from their opposition. Your taste buds must have been infected that day, if you know Campos they are very fussy about who brews their coffee. Clean your tongue and go and try it again.

The bean storage has improved, but the baristas are still rubbish! I've had a burnt tongue, a sweet & sour latte and an espresso with no body and the thinnest crema since 1998!

Muse are great for beans, fantastic in fact. But not so good for anything else. Envy has just been refurbished, and there's a new coffee bar in Summer Hill, so lots of places worth trying!

Have usually gone to envy in Summer Hill, but went back to muse (which uused segafredo when it first opened, I think) when I saw the campos umbrella on the balcony.

Waitress didn't know what a ristretto was, but the double length espresso I received wasn't too bad. Might try them again, because I do prefer campos (which I use at home) to karmee.

Muse sells Campos beans and ground coffee, which is great.

My last experience there was a bit shocking. The coffee was underextracted for the espresso. The latte was too hot and rather watery, so I went home and made a better cup of coffee with a stovetop and the beans they'd sold me. Suprising considering the quality of the coffee coming into the machine, maybe it was just a poorly trained barista?

The food is excellent, however.

hey mate, im glad you checked this one out. I really enjoyed my visit, the food was excellent (i was there for breakfast) and the staff seemed really friendly. I too thought this would be a great place to spend a wet weekend.
