Movie: The Island

Fun action movie; at once more profound than Arnie’s the sixth day, but without that profundity ruining a good action flick. Manages to approach a complex subject, appear to solve it while not probing too deeply. Great to see moments where Ewan McGregor reprises his Catcher Block role from Down with Love. If you like action / thriller movies with a lot of chases, and aren’t put off by a 60 second scene related to the romantic subplot between the leading characters, you’ll enjoy this in spite of yourself.
