Why haven't I posted in a while? Because Telstra can't seem to get its bigpond broadband service working at home: I've just been told it will be another week before they can send out a technician. Thanks, Telstra.

I guess my point is, that if there *was* a shark, then how would I blog about it from home?

I've heard that asking to speak with the manager when you call Telstra and then telling *them* that you're looking at switching providers can often produce positive results.

Of course, there's the moral dilemma of deception or of chopping and changing service providers (which is less of a moral dilemma these days, given the lack of bilateral loyalty in utility provision in recent years)...
