Vann's Café, Cremorne Point

Danes coffee. A little on the pricey side, as is typical for the northern suburbs, but the large coffee at $4 is truly a large coffee... More so than you would get in North Sydney.

The café is open plan, has some street frontage, and an interior that's as friendly as any lounge room you might visit.

Coffee is made fast, freshly ground, and is tasty and a good temperature.

Hey Dave

How much do they charge for a basic affogato? What is the average? I was, as a $60-100 per week regular at a cafe charged $6.50 for your basic double affogato (2 shots, two scoops plain vanilla) in a bowl. No wonder my tabs were running so high!

I consider it outrageous, though the owner claims its standard these days. Do you concur?

Inquiring minds must know

I'll have to get back to you on that: I'd guess around $5, though.

I've never had a double affogato; it took me a long while to come to grips with the single - something to do with the combination of hot and cold.

What a cool idea for a blog! Love it! And the coffee picture is gorgeous!
